The other major piece of this is Zynga adding third-party developers to and its Z Bar of games on Facebook, while also providing them with technology Zynga has built for its games. People will also see changes in their games in real-time as others help them. There's also a chat feature, in which people can chat with others while playing or send virtual goods through the chat window. That means it will be much easier to advance in games. While playing, people see a Social Screen on the right side of the pages which shows requests for help from friends or any players. Players can click directly on the stream to help, instead of having to click through to their friends' farms or castles as they used to. ![]() There's also a social layer within the games themselves. The upshot is that Zynga is building its own social network on its site, separate from Facebook (more on that below). It's what's known as the interest graph as opposed to social graph. Players also create their own Zynga profiles, where people can see what games they play the most, and also how often they help others in games.
